What is the participant key for Ethereum and ERC-20?

Updated 2 weeks ago

The participant key (or public key) is the key used for verifying your transactions, you are required to enter this key when participating in an auction, this key will allow you to provide the approval to release the funds out of your crypto wallet, only once you approve this release will the funds be able to be transacted to the other party.

While dealing with Ethereum or ERC-20 Tokens, your Wallet address is usually used as your multisig participant key, which means that the funds release approval and the address where you can receive your funds are the same.
